How to Use GetMovingQuotes

Access GetMovingQuotes using the sign-in link sent to your email.

• Click the 'Sign In / Sign Up' button at the top right of the page
• Enter the email address where you received your invite
• A magic link will be sent to your inbox — click it to log in
• No password needed — each login sends a secure link to your email
• Once signed in, you'll land on your Dashboard

Click 'New Move' in the navigation to begin your move request.

• From your Dashboard, click 'New Move' in the top navigation bar
• Enter your contact details: name, email, and phone number
• Enter your pickup address — start typing and select from autocomplete suggestions
• Enter your dropoff address the same way
• Select the property type (apartment, house, or business) for each location
• Answer questions about stairs, elevators, parking, and gated access at each location

Choose what services you need and when you want to move.

• Pick your preferred move date from the calendar
• Choose a specific start time or mark your schedule as flexible
• Select any additional services you need: Full Packing, Partial Packing, Fragile Packing, Labor Only, or Supplies
• Add any special notes or instructions for the movers (e.g. fragile antiques, access codes)

List everything you need moved so movers can give accurate quotes.

• Add items by room: living room, bedroom, kitchen, garage, etc.
• Use the AI voice/text assistant to quickly describe your items and have them parsed automatically
• Or add items manually one at a time using the item form
• Specify quantities and mark items that need disassembly or special handling
• The more detail you provide, the more accurate your quotes will be

Review your full move summary and submit to receive quotes from movers.

• Step 5 shows a full summary of your move: addresses, date, services, and items
• Check everything is correct — you can go back to edit any step
• Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions
• Click 'Submit Move Request' — movers in your area will be notified immediately
• You'll land on your Dashboard where you can track incoming quotes

Movers will send you quotes — compare them and book the one you like.

• You'll receive quotes from verified movers in your area within hours
• Each quote shows the price, crew size, estimated hours, packing inclusion, and cancellation policy
• View each mover's license number, insurance types, and Google reviews
• Select an insurance coverage level (Released Value is free; Full Value Protection costs more but covers item replacement)
• Message movers directly within the app to ask questions before deciding
• Click 'Book this Mover' to confirm — the mover is notified and a PDF invoice is automatically downloaded for your records
